Monsoon East Sunday Wine Dinner

There are still a handful tickets available for what is sure to be a fabulous showing of food and wine from one of the Walla Walla Valley’s finest, Buty Winery. Chef Nathan Crave along with Eric and Sophie Banh will create a delicious Vietnamese dinner paired with these notable, single varietal white and red wine blends made by Caleb Foster and Nina Buty Foster.

The Wines

Buty Winery will be featuring two pre-release wines for the dinner:

Merlot and Caberent Franc Columbia Valley 2008

Three additional selections will be available at the dinner:
Sémillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle Columbia Valley 2008
Conner Lee Vineyard Chardonnay Columbia Valley 2008

Chef Nate has crafted an exciting six-course dinner to pair with each of the Buty wines:

First Course
fluke sashimi, citrus, red pepper, cilantro

Second Course
crispy veal sweetbreads, shaved fennel, dill, meyer lemon, creme fraiche

Third Course
roasted black cod, hedgehog mushrooms, leeks, yukon gold potato, brown butter
